Seahawks Stun Winning Last NFL Game with Pete Carroll as Head Coach
The Seattle Seahawks finished their last regular season NFL game with an intense win 21-20 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks were ahead most of the game until the middle of the fourth quarter when the Cardinals took the lead. Down to the wire nearing the end of the fourth quarter, quarterback Geno Smith threw to Tyler Lockett for a touchdown, bringing the score to 21-20. In the final second of the game, the Cardinals missed their field goal attempt, securing the win for the Seahawks. Since the Green Bay Packers won against the Chicago Bears, the Seahawks will not be going to the playoffs. This turns out to be the final Seahawks game with Pete Carroll as the head coach.
